apple flower in November – Global warming ?
After the worst season ever many Garda Lake small producers have decided not to make the harvest. The fly, after a warm winter and a really wet summer has increase its attack. The choice was between preserving the environment or have olives. Biological attract-and-kill products were daily washed out with the rain. Here the results in my hectare : 1/10 production compared with the last year. When they were speaking about Global Worming the people was thinking about having more summer… our region this summer has been like a tropical area, with floods, daily rain, few hot days and trees that get new unusual hillness(plus the old ones, of course). today 17th of October, on my apple tree there is a white flower.
